Prebonded Keratin Extensions
Difficult degree B
Remove the keratinextensions with a remover and plier, apply remover on the bond and press with the plier. The keratinextensions will last about 3 months if the care instructions are followed carefully.
You will need about 80-120 keratin strands, heat fusion plier, clips, protection pad and a tailcomb.
Step 1. Start by preparing the keratinbonds, cut off about 40% of the keratin bonds to avoid uncomfortable and clumsy bonds in the head. Shampoo the own hair with deep cleansing shampoo and dry it carefully before starting. Section the hair, make your first section about 2 cm from the hairline in the neck.
Step 2. Pick a strand from the own hair about 2 cm inside the hairline to avoid visible bonds. Pull the strand thru the scalp protector, clip the protector on the hair. Place a keratin strand under the strand you picked and melt the bond carefully with the fusion plier.
Step 3. Press and form the melted bond direct with your fingers, press until the bond stiffens again. Press and form the bonds carefully and hard to make the bonds tight and close. The shape should look like a rice corn. If the shape are bad, melt it again and press it again to make it better.
Step 4. Continue to attach strands along the sektion. When the first line is done take a new section about 1 -2 cm above the previous line and continue the same way. It is very important to attach all strands 1-2 cm inside the hairline to avoid visible bonds. For thin - normal hair you will have to make 2-3 lines in the neck, thick hair needs about 4 lines, sometimes 5, to get a beautiful and natural result.
Note! It is very important to follow the careinstructions carefully. Do not use any oily or greasy products like conditioner or masque in the hair before you start attaching the extensions.
The hair should be washed with deep cleansing shampoo before you start. You can also use a big scalpprotector for a quicker attachment.
Good Luck!
